Multiplayer joining problems and "Failed to connect after 6 retries"

So I am trying to join a server which I have played on for a long time, being staff there as well. Though today when i try joining it via the legacy browser, it just shows up as its IP. When i click it, it just shows me that it is failing to respond. When trying to join it via console, it loads up to 2 bars and then it gives me an error saying "Failed to connect after 6 retries" Help!
