Gmod has been crashing ever since its most recent update. I'm not the only mac user I know of that's been having issues.
I'm running on High Sierra (which isn't an issue because the crashing began before I upgraded my OS). I even upgraded my RAM from a lowly 4GBs to 8 because people told me it may have been an issue with my CPU, but it still crashes.
I've been told that it's an issue with Awesomium as well. I don't really know, myself.

I already reported this on their GitHub page but I don't really expect them to fix Mac issues anytime soon. Those seem to usually have the lowest priority. Here's the link anyway if you'd like to follow any future updates: https://github.com/Facepunch/garrysmod-issues/issues/3404
Oh yeah, I fucking hate Awesomium. It’s the reason I’m having problems as well
