Hi. I cant open the .pak files of the game hunting: showdown, I need to extract some weapons and sounds but when I try to open them with winrar or 7zip I get the error: '' unknown format or damaged file ''.
I have made sure that the files are well and I've already downloaded the game 2 times for that,i try using Pakscape but I also get an error when opening the files.
I hope you can help me thanks!
Maybe baucause you can't open the with winrar/7zip, i try to use other software for pak files too but nothing work, if someone could try to find a way to extract them it could be cool !
I can upload some games files if required.

PAK is a somewhat generic format and there are a LOT of variations on it. You cannot just open it using a single program. You will probably have to get an opener for PAK files specific to this game. I'd recommend going to Xentax, they are much better at this than we are.
