Hello, I'm working on an idea of a game (enclosed to only good friends). I am new to coding and was going to try to make a source mod. So I want to get together a group of people, new to whatever they are doing! We need a person for models(maybe), maps(definitely), and maybe another coder! I am new to coding and am very good at learning, i know how to code Lua quite decently and am trying to learn C++. I CANNOT pay, but if your new, like me, you should be looking for a learning experience, not cash. Also!, if you know a lot of coding and would like to partner up with me. I would be willing to talk business, 1 thing, you have to teach me what you know!
So To Recap! If you are a new, modeler, mapper, or coder, I would love it if you were to post a Application.
Showing some of your previous work( if your so new, like me, and don't have a portfolio then just post it ). Explain how old you are. And just give a few sentence to sum YOU up!

i have started brainstorming ideas but just that, i want to figure out all the details with the devs and the team! So that they aren't like workers, but friends and more than just ' do this for me here ' more of a like 'hey can you do this or is this better?'

Looks like OP already has that job.
If you don't know c++ your not going to get far in terms of source modding. You'd be better of with just actually learning and practicing for a while before you do anything else with it. Oh, and I doubt any coder will help for free, in my opinion.
