[b]Prologue:[/b]
The defeat of napoleon was followed by years of intolerable peace and many new events. The British Empire banned slavery; the first railways began to bring the industrial revolution on the rails. What begun in the British Isles has now spread into mainland Europe, and is starting to influence people’s lives in ways never conceived before. The world is waking up to the harsh reality that ideas once taken for granted are now being shaken to their core as the haphazard arrival of capitalism and industry confuse all. Workers smash the machines. For every new factory, an abandoned and rotting village lies in the countryside. Of every ten children born into this strange new world, four die. Violent booms and sudden slumps mark economic activity. The powerhouse of the world is being born.

Send Personal messages with the nation you wish to choose. If possible read a bit about that country that you have picked and what it did in a few years preceding 1836.
After you have picked your nation, you can send in turns, which take the form of:

Diplomacy and external affairs: (Deals with other nations, trade, diplomatic bullshit, espionage) .
Economic affairs: (Economic reforms, things to focus in, budget, etc. Note that government intervention in economics is very small initially).
Internal politics and affairs: (Politics, censorship, elections, social and political reforms, propaganda, etc).
Technology: (Choose a single concept, idea, etc that advances either technological or scientific progress).

It would go under internal affairs and economics. (but meh it doesn't really matter)

How much is taken is up is variable. You can "annex" a fair deal of land, but people might contest it, and you may have weak control over the land too.
