Hello fellow Facepunch users. After playing on a number of TTT servers, I got tired of hearing screaming children over the microphone. I would go to mute one, and then another one would pop up. There are a group of other servers that claim to cater to mature gamers, but really they're just a bunch of kids too.
To remedy this problem, a friend and I decided to start our own TTT server. A server made by adults, for adults. I plan on adding some custom mods in the future but right now, the only thing I have is one-hit knife kill and ULX. I will be needing a couple more admins to play while I'm not on.
Basic rules apply. In addition you have to be over the age of 16 to talk on the microphone.

do you have one of these when you enter the server? Because that'll keep those pesky rugrats out!
why would you advertise a server for mature gamers on a forum populated mostly by the annoying 12 year olds you're trying to keep out
I sounded like a "little kid" up until I was around 17.
Basing the quality of someone's speech on how they sound is pretty stupid. I have over 500 hours on TTT, and yes, there are quite a few annoying kids that play it. But basing something purely on age like this is pretty hap-hazard. There are idiots that spoil it just as much over the age of 16/18 than under.

No. It is perfectly legitimate. I don't want to spend my free time listening to a twenty-two year old who sounds like he's in puberty or worse. Having a "sound at least 16" rule is great, it is what I have on my server.

You're playing Garrys Mod. 80% of the community are all squeeky 12 years olds.

Tell me how it is? Explain how it ends up being wrong if everyone doesn't want to listen to someone who won't stop talking? Also, I'm done replying to here. Not going to revive a dead thread to argue with people who don't know what they're talking about.
I get why you would want a server with an age rule, but wouldn't just enforcing the common rules of no mic spam or being annoying work as well while still letting kids play and keeping out annoying 16, 18, 20, 26 year olds that still mic spam?
