[GMOD][TTT] Doug's Awesome TTT! [Shop|AWP|Jihad|Knife|FastDL] And Musics! - Games

[img]http://www.douglashuck.com/donate/images/smaller.png[/img] [b]Server Rules:[/b] Do not RDM, RDM is damaging anyone with out strong evidences as innocent or a teammate as a traitor. Any damage counts, guns, grenades, props and fall damage. All players have free will, this mean no do or die scenarios or claiming of rooms at any time. All plays can do what they want, where they want. IDGAF if you're detective. No ghosting. Ghosting is giving information to a player that shouldn't be shared, this includes messaging players when dead or calling out fellow traitors. No spamming or discrimination, watch what you say, you can be muted or banned. [b]What makes us different?[/b] We changed somethings that are more of a personal preference, and some might not agree with. Nerfed jihad bomb, it's still the jihad but the blast radius is much smaller then the jihad on garrysmod.org making it much harder to get a number of kills worth a shit. Buffed silenced pistol, 1 head and 1 body, or 3 bodys to kill form full health with no armour. Awp is standard, one bullet, the entire server hears it fire. One hit kill knife makes the knife more useful. Detectives have access to by a nerfed version of the ak47. End music playlist. The end music was popular in a previous server, but people have different taste, now you can pick what music plays by genre. Plus we added a volume control. Spawn with weapons, some have bashed this as some believe finding guns is part of the game. We disagree and believe the game is in the mystery of finding who the traitor is or in the challenge of being sneaky enough to kill the innocents. You start with either a mac10, m16, shotgun, or huge at random and a pistol, you can still switch guns. Custom way of selecting t's. Stock TTT only looks at the last round to determine if someone should get a higher t chance (Prev t's get like a 1/5 chance). We use a collective point scale that is persistent across map changes and even if you leave. How it works is you get points that make you more likely to be a t each round you are not a t. When you are t those points reset. Points shop, maybe will argue hats ruin the game, but they are client side and disableable. If you don't like them turn them off, if you don't mind them, enjoy. End round slomo, not a major feature to worry about but creates some epic cimatic moment. This is not the slomo from workshop. Silly ranks, over 40 funny names to level up to based on kills. It's all for you. No donor or admin only bullshit. Everyone has access to everything everyone else does. Every download from the fastdl is something you get to enjoy. [b]Anything else I should know?[/b] We are a more relaxed enviroment. You will still be punished for RDM but unlike some servers I have played on, we concider RDM attacking another player for no sound reaons as innocent or your team as traitor. Being wrong is not the same as RDM. "Traitor-baiting" is allowed but is also a reason to be killed, dont shoot at someone unless you are willing to have them return fire. If you actually hit someone for no reason that is RDM. The free will rules applies to all, I dont care if your a detective, donor, the pope, the president, or jesus christ, You cannot count a person not doing something you say as evidence to kill them. It is rare, but sometimes we have had problems with people trying to get other banned for "RDM" by baiting them into killing them using T weapons, or shooting at them first. We have better then stock logs and a perm ban will be given to those lying to get other banned. I don't like some of the rules. I use weeding tactics as a detective, and as a traitor, if my buddy agrees, I'll often work out a Plan of attack, if he's fucked anyway, to call him out, mabye even KILL him, and get myself 'proven innocent', and therefore trusted. than, I kill someone, and say "Oh shit it was banana, he went THAT WAY! GO GET HIM!!" So perhaps you guys should consider a revision on the rules, or at least administrators who can judge the difference between advanced gameplay tactics, and cheating/minging.

The rules for ghosting do say don't call out your t buddies, we mean don't go t and disclose the entire line up to the server. It's more for people using 3rd party chat clients. What I am getting at is the environment is more relaxed. We do not slay for every inno on inno kill, mistakes and accidents happen. We do not actively look for "RDM" in the logs except for inno on inno kills in the first 5 second, this way at least someone has to feel like it was RDM and bring it to our attention. If your t buddy agrees to be called out by you, we would never know, and if a question was raised and he said it was cool, no punishment would come of it. Really the rules are a detailed version of "No being an asshole." Advanced gameplay tactics are not being an asshole and are not only welcomed by applauded and encouraged. If you do have a problem during play, let me know and Ill sort it out.

He has proven himself more the right for the job and shares the mentality about fun and fair gameplay, and restraint when choosing to use admin. I'm not dumb enough to pick admins based off someone on face punches suggestion there's a minimum play time quota.
