You can, believe it or not, get past it. you have to double jump to not trigger the third spike wall.

Really? I thought you had to be on medium to get the wuss save, shoot it, die, get closer and shoot it again and so on until you fall down there. What I don't get is how to get past the room after the all-spike room(that you have to shoot one to make it fall)
In there first screen there are not two but three ways to go. There is one exit hidden behind spikes in the left wall.
I've made it to the final boss on this game, but never beaten it. Still have the save file.
Not something I'm proud of, I should really get it finished.

If you fall down and hug the wall while falling, it won't trigger. Then in the next room, after you land on the spike that you shoot, a block will appear.. Then disappear as another appears... And so on.
