A really nice DarkRP server! - Games

Hello! My name is burger97979 and I own a DarkRP server that has a TON of addons that take no space! My goal is to make my players happy, not to make money! Just to make players like a DarkRP server and to keep coming back to it!:smile: The only problem is, nobody joins because nobody is on it! I need people on before people start joining, because who likes to play with themselves in a server, right? [B]-We have a phone mod, every player receives their own phone number and you can call and text other players as well as take selfies and browse the internet!- -We have realistic ATMs for money storage, and thieves can hack these ATMs for their own profit! -We have a day/night/weather cycle! It becomes day, turns into evening and then night, then the dawn comes and it becomes day! Every so often it storms with realistic rain and splashes as well as sounds! The sun looks AMAZINGLY realistic in the daytime! -We have over 25 jobs that all are handpicked from our team with custom models, weapons and more! -We have slick guns that DONT lag and ARENT crappy, they are custom modeled, animated and have custom sounds! -We have over 200 ULX commands! And it's easy to get staff! All you need is good moderating skills and you have access to an arsenal of useful commands! -We have a $10,000 start so you don't have to worry about bankruptcy! -We have custom printers that print loads of money, they come with fire extinguishers just in-case your printers suddenly light on fire for no apparent reason! -We have a pointshop! You gain 10 points every 5 minutes on the server, cheapest items are 20 points! 10 minutes on the server and you got yourself a weapon or hat! -We have a sleek hud! Our hud might be one of many, but that is because we thought it was one of the best and regular ones out there! -We have a great tab menu! Our tab menu features the amount of players on the server and allows you to click on a player's name to know their Steam and server information! It also allows admins easy access to players! -We have wiremod! For all of your wiring needs! -We have the precision, fading door, keypad and stacker tools! These ALL come in handy when building an unraidable base stocked with Ferraris and weapons fit for an army or just to hide a couple of printers! Of course we also have every other tool a DarkRP server should have, and the default tools! -We have amazing player information tags! These tags feature the player's name, rank, job, gang, and health (a bar!) over their head everywhere they go! They are visible from a limited distance for realistic roleplay! This is how you can tell if a person is an admin or not, the Mayor or not, even if they are in the gang "Burger Buddies" or "Waffle Power"! -We have a custom loading screen! We have a custom loading screen featuring the player's name, steamid, workshop id, and our basic MOTD! -We have a great log system! We use the powerful deagleLogs! These logs feature kills/deaths, arrests/unarrests, warrants, wants, interactions, and even chat! First thing I did was check your site and instantly thought how desperate this guy is for money. Talk about being a money whore, is their anything which doesn't involve donating? I'm surprised to not see an option: Join for 1 hour: $50 Join for 2 hours: $90 Etc... I don't usually reply to topics like this, I just read to see how funny and bad all these servers are but this is just too much not to comment. Biggest money whore I've ever seen.

Sorry about that. I'm not trying to give you bad reputation, I didn't even point out any flaws. People can judge your server by looking at your OP and circuitbawx's post, so I don't really even need to.

I'm also Steve Jobs-ing this shit. Doing it my way, with little compromises - compromising fucked up the original 2 servers.

The way your website advertises donations on every page and having everything on the server only accessible by donating (Pretty much everything...) is what makes this look bad. Again I couldn't care that you'd use all that money on the server, that is all bullshit. Back in 2012 when I had a server I said the same thing, and then when no one played and I had lots of money left over, try saying it again.

Seriously a 32 player server costs fuck all to run, cost me about £16/mo on the good websites. The people who claim it costs $100 a month or w/e to run a server are either plain lying or are terrible at finding deals.
