[Seed Eater] started this a while ago and it was awesome, but due to an overwhelming amount of people he had to close it. I've offered to take it up again and with his permission started V2 of the game. There are eight slots to start, and I'll add two more the next turn. Come and get it while it's hot. What happened? This is the lore Read this to get a full understanding^ no really if you plan on playing this game READ THIS tl;dr the Axis winning WWII is what happened. The world is in a three- or four-way Cold War and it's 1962 Map Help I don't know what these countries are! Playable nations and alliances: General classifications: These are kind of very loose. -Alliance heads have the most power. They represent superpowers in this cold war. Generally what they say goes for their alliance, but of course most nations have some form of independence. They are America, Italy, Germany, and Japan. -Protectorates are nominally independent states that are under the protection of a major state, so long as they keep within their sphere of influence and keep in line with their politics. -Puppets are the next step down, they're usually de facto controlled by some arm of another country, but they make their own internal decisions. While puppets can break free from the parent nation, they will have to face the consequences. Reichskoms are included in this category, but are marked separately to indicate that they're commanded by Germans. -Colonies are the least free. While you can control your own shit internally, whatever the parent nation says goes for you. All alliance heads/parent nations who control colonies can send orders to a player-controlled colony and you're stuck doing it, or face the consequences. -The nations in the grey squares, the former Russia and independent squares, are not allied, but independent nations unaligned. Got a nation picked out? If you are a previous player you will get dibs on the country you had before, if nobody claims it a turn before. PM me with the title "[your nation]- 1963". In this, send to me:
Military Commands: Diplomacy: Internal Affairs: Politics: Clandestine Activities: Economic or Research activities: (If applicable) Undernation oversight: Shit from last turn that I should pay attention to, like ongoing programs:
Keep it brief. Future turns will use the title "[your nation]-[year this turn is for]". What would be really super nice is if you also included a copy of the turn for your nation as posted here, in quotes, but I won't hold anyone to that. It's just a little more effort on your part that will speed up the turn-making process. Howtado edits- if you're going to make an edit, send the ENTIRE TURN with the relevant changes made. I'm not going to read all 20 of your three word PMs about changes. I'm going with the latest sent PM, no others. Direction: Want suggestions on what to do with your nation, or the state of your nation? Feel free to ask here before choosing a nation, that way everyone can get a better understanding of the world. If you need direction, I'll be happy to provide you with a general goal based on the demands of your populace. Acting outside of common sense for your nation will have consequences. By that, I mean that if you pick a nation and decide to suddenly change its political disposition then you're going to get fucked over. Don't pick a nation you don't want to play as. If you want to see changes made to you nation, they need to be realistic in effort. Breaking away from a controlling empire or changing political composition requires more than just "lul Japan is democracy nao". Reforms take time and effort. Revolutions are bloody and messy. Can't find your nation on the map? That's fine, just ask. Revolutionary factions: These are playable factions that can potentially come to power. These are probably the fastest, but least sustainable, ways to make changes to nations. Germany: Goring's Military Faction- seeks return to military prominence. Heydrich's SS- seeks political control by the SS, union with Burgundy. Speer's Progressive Front- seeks a progressivization, liberalization, and left-wing interpretation of Nazism. United States: Silver Legion- once-time presidential officeholders, seek a state capitalist and racially hygienic America. Unpopular. Japan: Democracy Movement- liberalization of Japan. Small movement kept in check by Kempeitai. plus many more World Power Ranking: #1 Japan #2 Germany #3 Burgundy #4 Italy #5 United States #6 Iberia #7 Finland #8 Canada #9 India #10 Ireland How frequently will this shit update? If everyone gets their turns in by Wednesday night every week you're guaranteed one turn per week, due on Monday at the latest. If you all can keep up a higher pace then I'll try to match it. Keep in mind that I have a fairly hefty school and work load, with the end of the semester coming up and a promotion I'm still training for, but I'm willing to put the effort in if you lot are. Game starts when we have 4 players. I'll try to have the first turn written by Sunday, mid-day if we can get turns in by then. Current playerlist:

Why is Europa connected to Africa Pangea boogaloo 2.0 [editline]17th October 2014[/editline] Nevermind, damned by the nuclears
Why is Europa connected to Africa Pangea boogaloo 2.0 [editline]17th October 2014[/editline] Nevermind, damned by the nuclears
In this version the Mediterranean is drained to create new land, which was actually a proposed Nazi plan. Part of the whole self sufficiency thing they wanted, that land would have been farmland afaik.
Read the plot guys.

So what are the ratios for the flags in this RP? I'm planning at taking a crack at making my own

I made a map as I was tired of shifting between the political and name map. It's also color coded for what empire controls the states.
I'll take the US
Turn sent in for Australia
SINGAPURA STRONK, REMOVE SATAY! ALAMAK! ROJAK!
Flag ratio's are whatever, as long as it's not above 250x150 Don't make it retarded tho. [editline]18th October 2014[/editline] Also to the two of you whos ent in turns, give me your flags.
