The sun set; the dusk fell on the stream, and lights began to appear along the shore. The Chapman lighthouse, a three-legged thing erect on a mud-flat, shone strongly. Lights of ships moved in the fairway--a great stir of lights going up and going down. And farther west on the upper reaches the place of the monstrous town was still marked ominously on the sky, a brooding gloom in sunshine, a lurid glare under the stars.
"And this also," said Marlow suddenly, "has been one of the dark places of the earth."

South of Civilization lies a beast that no wise man has or would ever travel to, there men with faces on their bellies and hands on their skulls make their homes and eat the naughty children of the world at night. The beating heart of the world, Africa, the birthplace of savagery and a land of heathens is now being hotly disputed and contested by the great nations of the west. They seek wealth and riches, land to expand their influence and empire, a place upon which to place the burden of civilization. The year is 1880 Anno Domini and the time is now right for the great nations of the west to begin their march south into the Heart of Darkness. Or will the darkness strike back, and reveal where civilization truly lies?
*FIRST TURN ONLY*
Flag: 250px width x whatever for height as long as the aspect ratio isn't fucked
Country Name: Should be obvious
*EVERY OTHER TURN*
Diplomacy - How you deal with other nations
Military - What you are doing with your military
Domestic - What you do inside of your country
Espionage - The ~supar sekrit~ stuff you do behind the scenes, like funding rebel groups or attempting assassinations
Each turn will be a year and I will be doing a d6 roll to determine the success of your actions. After and before every turn a player will get an event in the vein of a Paradox game, the player is free to respond to this event in any way they see fit and will help push the narrative of the game along.
Players are allowed to play as protectorates but serious matters must be run by their master (or me if you're playing an NPC).
