Just lost all my stats and achievements

I just started up TF2 and on the main menu the achievement 'graymatter' popped up in the corner. So I check my achievements and they are all gone. I go to join a game and I see my stats and I have no playtime for any classes but medic which is in the thousands of hours. Ive restarted TF2 and nothings happened.

Any Ideas?

I know that it resets your hours, but it didn't reset my achievements.

Or does it only reset the one's in progress?

Steam cloud wad down. That is what handles your stats. You should have a local copy, but that is not really used until such a case gets involved.
