I have made this map over a pretty damn long time period, working off and on on it. Right now I also do not have much time to work on it, but people enjoy playing it and looking at it so I thought I'd share it here too!
The purpose of this map is for me to learn. Layouts, design, modelling, texturing, the source engine, how to handle feedback, how to implement feedback, how to plan, etc. While learning though, I also wish to creating something that people will like to play and like to look at. Fun times and good looks are what I strive for, and any and all feedback is always welcome!

Only parts I would say need improving are where you have destroyed parts of walls. There are a few lighting errors on some of these parts, and overall they don't look great. It might be worthwhile taking them and remaking them more detailed as a model, rather than as brushwork

I also hope you changed point A so you can rocket jump onto it.
I remember the last time I played there were invisible walls around it that didn't allow you to jump over those posts/poles.
I might be dumb and misremembering though.

Yes, I know about them and am quite ashamed of them. The problem is in the source lighting system: Some walls are brushes and some are displacements. They are next to each other and have the same texture, but source creates different lighting on them. The brushes are voxel lit, but the displacements are vertex lit. I currently have no idea how to counter this bar making all the walls displacements, but I do not think that will improve optimization at all :(
I need to fix this somehow, but I have no idea at the moment how. Still searching, but I think it is impossible.

So just played it with a few friends some minutes ago. We think that the map is design wise great and gameplay is good too, but it's a little confusing in the darkness and so...I don't know, something's just wrong with hints where to go.

Yeah.... I got drag in my head some time and I got so far into development that I just stuck with it. Wetland or something actually swampy might have been better :downs:

Great map, last time I played it there were areas that were too dark but judging by the screenshots you fixed it.
Hey, I made a nav mesh for this map, so you can play with bots on it. 3CP maps like this are still a little bit buggy but it's still quite playable with bots.

The 'thin water negates huge drop damage' mechanic. The last point as a bit of water in it for visual effect, but it also negates damage when players on top want to get to the bottom.

I just got feedback that cp_drag_b14 might crash when C is being capped and that when C is not capped and time runs out, blue still wins. I cannot reproduce this myself, and they may not be the map's problem but something server side, but if anyone has experienced this I would really like to know!
Oh wow I remember playing the very first version of this when it was awful, it's improved a thousandfold.
I found out a lot of people do not like that the roofs of B and some cliffs at A are clipped off. I do not know exactly what to do here, as getting up the roofs at B would be a huge advantage, I think. I could also put a push trigger on the roofs so that you can get over them and on them but 'slide' off. Does anyone here have any opinions on this?
Being as brutal as possible here; those moss patches are way overdone, a lot of geometry is kinda blocky, and the texture transitions are jarring.

Though I have some questions on what exactly it is you mean:
Moss patches overdone: Are there too many? Too big? Less but larger? More but smaller?
Geomertry is kinda blocky: In reference too the buildings on A and C? Or do you mean the cliffs? Or the ground?
Texture transitions: Do you mean the edges at on the moss covered walls? Those are sadly lighting errors for which I have yet to find a fix. Or do you mean something else?
I am not disregarding your feedback! I would just like to know what you mean as I do not understand it right now.
This map looks great, there aren't enough swamp themed maps in my opinion.
Anyone know a server that is hosting this?
