So, it's a problem I've had for a while. Every time I'm playing tf2 and I want to load some servers, it does not come up with any servers at all. My internet is good, my antivir ignores TF2. But I can't seem to find any servers. Help!
Delete clientregistry.blob and restart.
Or verify your cache files.
If that doesn't work then your router is most likely unsupported.
trying
my internet just randomly stops working with tf2 (dosent find any servers, for about 2-3 mins) then it will work again... i don't know why.

Just happened to me, 1 day ago it was perfectly fine
Tovleman I don't mean to insult your intelligence but are you sure you're not on the LAN tab?

Yes sir, I am sure. I'm on the INTERNET tab. Also, I am pretty dumb.
I had the same problem. Do this: http://maximumpcguides.com/windows-7/open-a-port-in-windows-7s-firewall/
Except with these ports:
UDP 27000 to 27015 inclusive
UDP 27015 to 27030 inclusive
TCP 27014 to 27050 inclusive
UDP 4380

I have this exact problem...every day.
Bump, for problem not solved.
Sounds like a problem port forwarding could fix.
If you don't want to bother, try www.game-monitor.com
Double check server filter.
Sounds like your router might have a shitty NAT table.
If it gets overflowed your not going to be able to connect to anything for about 3 minutes.
does anyone know a more up-to-date forum for this? it happens to me at least 3-4 days per week. but never 2 days in a row. :quagmire:
Many people are having this problem since the uber update. Please post in this thread instead of posting in this one (because it's too old):

Okay, people. I have found a fix that worked for me, and may work for you as well. What you do is change your location by clicking the steam tab and going to settings. Next, you go over too the "Downloads+Cloud" tab, and choose a location. Then, restart steam and voila, it's there. Hope this helps.
