• TF2 PC help (Changing the Resolution)

Sorry my original thread...well I can't find it. Anyway, I can not change the resolution for actual gameplay. If I start up TF2, I go to options and set the resolution, then click apply and it freezes, so I restart it. When I restart it the opening credits fit the resolution. However, once the menu is loaded, it's the original size, or I can't really tell, but it seems no matter what resolution I have it tries to adapt that resolution to fit my screen. If the resolution is on it's lowest setting, it ends up just being stretched out to fit my screen size. I want to have it to where it isn't the size of my screen. Am I doing the wrong thing?
what graphics card do you have?
There's a command you can run in start up options, but I can't remember it. Something like x-600 and y-800 with any number you want.
Your GPU or monitor automagically stretches lower resolutions to fill the screen. Your GPU's control panel (Catalyst Control Center/nVidia Control Panel) should have an option to change that. In CCC, for instance, go to your monitor and under Attributes->Scaling Options, select "Centered".
Put: -w XXXX -h XXXX into launch options. W is Width. H is Height. X is the number of pixels.

Wait more than 5 seconds how about? it's supposed to freeze for a scond, that's called adjusting
