Hi. Its simple. YES, I was pwned by a medic, but the thing is, he hit me with the uber saw a meter away from me, taking the usual damage. Most classes get 2 hits from this weapon (not counting the high hp ones) and die right away, and to add to that, ubersaw's seem to have a bigger range then most melee weapons.
Isnt it kind of OP?

It was a meter for sure. I was already running away from him while he was just turning away and after running for a while, he swinged and hit me.
Must be hitboxes then...
I agree with the range on the thing, but it's not overpowered.
Its not OP its just that medics want to melee more to get a quicker uber meaning you think its OP thanks to overuse.

But they surely cant hit a person from a meter away. I started running back, giving a meter of distance, and then he turned back, swinged the saw and actually hit me, without running at me while doing it.

Damn, I sure hope swapping 20% of my swing speed sure helps when I get 25% FRIKKIN UBER PER HIT. Not only that, because I'm a medic, I have a super high crit chance.
Uhm idk bout you guys but I am pretty sure I could nail someone with a saw from a meter away pretty easily. Also, the ubersaw has the same damage as the bonesaw, and has slow firing speed. Anyone who sticks around to get hit twice is either not paying attention, dumb or being chased by a damn good, brave medic.
Its know a long time medics have 3 meter long ubersaws.

It's just no medic in their right mind would pick the bonesaw over the ubersaw if they had it. Medic ain't a combat class but the blutsauger allows him to deals heaps of damage and keep himself alive and the ubersaw allows him to run away with uber without healing people.
A meter is 3 feet a way, you can't hold a saw and hit someone 3 feet away?

Melee weapons have an increased crit chance anyway, but your crit chance is based on the amount of damage dealt in the past 10 seconds. So if you're a spy who's trying to sap a sentry that's just killed 4 people, you're going to get critwrenched into the past.

I doubt it was a meter, or did you actually take the time to review the footage of this kill, go back to that map and carefully measure it?
