You can still knock the sandman ball through the starting gates

To do it, stand a little distance from the gate and hold M2, so the ball is repeatedly bouncing back and being fired again. Then, just move towards the gate while doing it, and the ball will pop through it.
I do this on achievement_idle4life all the time through the thin glass wall.
I'm pretty sure you can still do it the old way...
Well it's not much but it's an exploit I guess.

You can't. If you stand too close, the game prevents you from firing the ball.

Heck, if Pyros can still flame through the starting gates... Then by jovial scouts should be able to stun people through 'em. ;P

I, for one, am glad. Not that I stood infront of the gates, but we lost plenty a medic that way. :frown:
