The "Hold a Wrench With the Gunslinger Glitch" For lack of a better name. - Games

Ok long story short after switching from gun-slinger to Southern Hospitality I chanced upon a glitch that means you are wielding your chosen wrench but the viewmodel is still that of the Gun-slinger. Unlike previous weapon based glitches this one remains after changing to your primary (or secondary or any other weapon you are holding) after death and even after round ends. Anyone else know why this happens because i have no clue Here's a vid I quickly nabbed of the thing in action. yeah i've had that issue as well, it's purely aesthetic. i saw a spy disguised as a gunslinger engineer but his hand was just the glove. so he was basically running around as an engineer with nothing in his hand. i didn't tell him since it made him easier to spot.

This one only seems to crop up whenever it feels like working.

I thought this glitch was called the WrenchSlinger?

Just to clear this up: spies disguised as gunslinger engies will always appear to have a glove? That's a pretty serious glitch

I've gotten more kills ubering Spies than I have Heavies.

This happened to me before, except other people saw it and I didn't apparently. Meaning, it only appeared on the world model.

Quite a common glitch to be honest, just something event wise fires on the wrong body group.

A good medic heals EVERYONE on his team, not just the guy who will get him a bunch of assists. Also it makes me sad that you don't put any effort into aiding your fellow engineers.

While we're on this topic, is it at all possible to change the normal engie's glove into the gunslinger model?

Nah, talking about TF2. So you'd have a gunslinger when you have a wrench all the time.

It's a really safe way to build uber.

In all actuality I'm pretty sure that would work, since it replaces just the gloved hand model with the Gunslinger model, but I'm not certain.

As to the name, i've always called it the Southern Slinger.

Heres another Gunslinger related glitch: Go Engineer with Gunslinger Hold sentry plans, but don't build Equip Wrench/SH Build sentry End up with a mini-sentry It doesn't work vice versa sadly

I prefer the other version of the glitch, where you equip the gunslinger but it is shown as the regular hand. The taunt is some crazy shit.
