[IDEA] Crappy Weapons - negative stats for a reason!

This is just an idea I had running in my head.
PLEASE READ ALL OF IT BEFORE POSTING.
IDEA #1:
Crappy Weapons!
These weapons can only be found via a crate series, much like strange weapons. You may also find a rusty paint which can negate the positive effects on the weapon you want.
Example of a Crate.
Crappy Degreaser
Crappy Fan O'War
Crappy Force-A-Nature
Crappy Loch-n-Load
Balaclavas Are Forever
Taunt: Meet the Medic
(Or unusual hat)
What exactly are crappy weapons?

Exactly what it sounds like, my friend! They are crappy. These weapons negate the positive attributes on the weapon, and only leave the negative. Sounds sort of stupid, right?
THINK AGAIN!
Troll your friends, tell them how skilled you are by killing them with only negative attributes! Home in on your skills and take names. These weapons can test your skills, and see if you can survive with a drawback. If you don't like the idea of crappy weapons, you can always turn two crappy weapons into a normal scrap metal, or with another normal weapon.
P.S. Crappy Rocket/Sticky Jumpers sold separately.
IDEA #2: (Credit to E.C.S for this idea.)
Inverted weapons!
These weapons could be found the same way crappy ones are. Through crates, or using an inverted paint on a weapon. These ones are much more fun to toy with, but will probably not help you as much to become a better player.
What exactly are inverted weapons?

This is also what it sounds like. These weapons give inverted attributes, like shown above. A Degreaser with the inverted stats will switch weapons a lot slower, but has a +25% burn damage to it. The problem is that these weapons might become overpowered, but I may be wrong. I will have to check some weapons before assuming, I guess.
Q/A:
What if I used a Crappy Bonk?
Items like the Bonk, such as Crit-a-Cola, Mad Milk, Jarate, Buff Banner, Batallion's Backup, Concheror, Mantreads, Sandvich, Eyelander, etc. could not have negative stats, as they don't really have stats or positive stats to begin with.
Items that are physical weapons like shotguns, primary weapons, or even razorbacks can have the positive stat removed completely.
This would kill up backpack space.
They can only be unboxed (by request) by a certain series crate. If you don't want them, don't unbox them! :v:
MLP susxxz
K.
But then everyone will be overpowering you, what's the point?
It's for you to get better at the game. Negative attributes might make your more stealthful, precise, and more weary of what is going on in the battlefield. For example, if you were a spy with a Crappy Your Eternal Reward (Which will probably not exist in this thread), you would have to sneak up on enemies more as you have no disguise what-so-ever. You would use corners to your advantage more than you did before, and be a lot more sneaky. That way, if you use a normal Your Eternal Reward, you would probably dominate the entire team.
I don't want crappy/inverted weapons ruining my life.
There can be an option the the menu that allows you to enable or disable getting these weapons.
And that's it.

Try to craft a weapon
[Gabe Picture]
Get a crappy version
:what:
Unless you could set your weapon you had to be crappy status...

I don't really see the point in these weapons. I mean no-one but item collectors would want them and I can't imagine the rage from someone who just opened a new crate and got a "Crappy" weapon.
Not a bad idea at all actually. Though I don't think "crappy" is the right word.
THIS. SOUNDS. AWESOME.
Crappy Amputator
It's a Bonesaw
:v:.....:smith:
Crappy Caber time.
+100% Explosive Vulnerability
+100% Melee Vulnerability
+100% Bullet Vulnerability
+100% Fire Vulnerability
No Crits
And I still get loads of kills with it.
Its sort of like the pain train on defense, or the pain train on CTF.
Eh, I got 50 kills on 2fort with pain train alone, its pretty fun.
I actually like this idea...
Set bonuses too. I need my crappy Milkman set.

sorry, the SJ was nerfed today.
It no longer makes caber not hurt you.
Set bonuses too. I need my crappy Milkman set.
Okay, just unequip the hat and there you go.
Not a bad idea at all actually. Though I don't think "crappy" is the right word.
They could be Irish weapons.

I know it was nerfed, those were the caber's stats. And I only use the sticky jumper to launch myself onto at enemy snipers with my bottle out anyway.

I dunno Daimao. I would use them, and I meant there will be a series that gives just crappy weapons. It could cause some rage.
"He killed me with just negative stats? FFFF"
meh just get a pair of strange gru if you want to make them rage
anythoo i like this idea.
Crappy Gloves of Running Urgently
• -50% damage
• -6 HP per second
• Reduces speed by 33%
Totally agree, even 'tho, i would like it a no go into the crate system, because i mean, EVEN buying an effin' key is a waste of money, now wasting money to get a crappy weapon, that would be kind of lame y' know, but apart from that, i like the "Crappy Weapon" idea :D
Crappy Sandman
-25% Ball speed on alt fire
-20% Damage
Please no. The idea isn't bad but at the same time it's annoying. The drop system and crafting should more or less reward you. This would give it chance to let you down even though you did the blueprint right, bought the right key or spend enough time in the game.
I would totally go Demo with Crappy Booties, Crappy Targe, and Crappy Caber.
If ALL positive attributes are removed, you only have one weapon, which inflicts 100 self-damage the first time you use it and does low damage (35 instead of 65)
Set bonuses too. I need my crappy Milkman set.
If you wear them all you get an additional crappy stat!
I always use the Pain Train, even in Capture the Intel matches.
Constant 10% vulnerability handicap and I still get good kill ratios :smug:
I'd like to have a crappy sandvich
I'd like to have a crappy sandvich
you lose health on use
taunt kills you
it hurts when thrown, can kill team mates
If these dropped the system would curse us all and give us nothing but.
If these dropped the system would curse us all and give us nothing but.
Okay, what about crate series only? Like strange weapons.

This actually sounds pretty cool.
