I'm a little sick of the background that shows when you're joining a server, when your time played on each class pops up. Can someone tell me what file to replace if it actually is possible to change it? Just for clarification, I don't mean the main menu background.
Thanks.
I would assume you can find the file(s) you need to replace in the team fortress 2 content gcf. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Check through materials/console. That's about all the input I can give. Sorry mate.
There was a mod on tf2mods.net It changes that and looks very nice. I'll find a link.
Well, I had this one in mind, but that's only because it was the only one I saw. That one looks cool too.
While we are on the subject, is there any way to move the loading bar when joining a server from the bottom right corner of the screen?

I wish I could move this loading bar too :saddowns:

Not really on topic, but can anyone help me with this mod? Where do I download the zip?
Login and its on the left.

I use this one and it looks awesome.

I assume you mean extract, because download makes on sense in that sentence.
Extract it to tf in your steamapps folder.

So its just tf, not like any folder inside it?
I use this in conjunction with some custom-made, much higher-quality backgrounds.

Only downside is that it fails awfully on sv_pure (the background becomes a giant version of the little class portraits that spans the whole screen) and the backgrounds that come with it aren't too great.
I really wish there was a way to have map-specific loading backgrounds.

Good way to see before you finish connecting if the server has sv_pure on.
Where is the file that holds the loading screen image?

tf\materials\console\background01.vtf (and its variations).

That looks awesome. Can you upload it? How many screens are there?
Does anyone know why my game has the loading bar covering the quick tips?

9. They're made for a 16:10 aspect ratio though, so if you use anything else I can't help you. I didn't make them with the intent of other people using them. :v: Nonetheless, here you go.

Probably because you're using a 4:3 resolution.
