items_game.txt working on listen server?

I hear its possible to get items_game working on a listen server but i have no idea how.

Can anyone enlighten me on how to do this? It's quite important because i need to test sounds for a sound fix patch im working on.

It is possible if the listen server has the same items_game.txt that you have
