I thought i'd share some weapon ideas I have for TF2 The Professional (Based off Golgo 13's m16) - Primary Weapon for Sniper PROS = 5 bullet clips/magazines as opposed to single shots CONS = Body shots charged or not will do less damage and if you do multiple shots if still scoped, you lose accuracy ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The mean Greaser (simply a M3 'Grease Gun') - Sidearm for Sniper and Soldier & Primary for Engineer PROS = 20% larger clip AVERAGE = Yields less ammunition when picked up by others CONS = 15% slower Reload ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This one's very generic, but it's a decent one. Desperado's Double Barrel - Engineer's Shotgun PROS = Pellets do twice as much damage (Buckshot) CONS = 66% less ammo loaded (2 rounds), Fires 6 pellets rather than 10, slow single fire
Isn't this agaisnt the rules? Also, an M16 is definitely not TF2.
No
Agree.
Yes.
PROS = Semi-Automatic (Several Clips of 5) CONS = Body shots do 10% less damage
So you get 5 shots without reloading, but in return, a no-scope/not-charged shot does 45 damage ( 135 fully charged ) instead of 50/150? This is a hitscan weapon we're talking about. 5 shots in succession, 45 damage each without regard of range sounds terribly OP. Even when scoping, headshots still do 150-450, so there wouldn't be any reason not to use this. 5-15 less damage on BODYSHOTS, something that you shouldn't even be doing, unless you know they'll die in a single low-damage shot, doesn't make having 5 shots in a clip balanced. Hold M1. Everything dies in 2 seconds.

Alright guys let's think of every single non-TF2 esque weapon we can think of P90 for Scout LOL XD no
Engineer is already too overpowered, don't buff him please. I meant to say single shots in a 5 round clip rather than a single bullet loaded in every time, and the less bodyshot damage goes for any bodyshot, you can have it full, and it does less than a standard sniper's full bodyshot it could get even more unbalanced than that if I even touch on the gunfire being silenced M16's are somewhat TF2 era (we could instead go for the first models of the m16/m4) but not as much of an era suitable gun as an M3
some automatic weapons could work, a few ideas like a sten for spy, a tribute to the French resistance silenced + 40% ammo - 60% mobility when firing - 30% firing speed some sort of Uzi for scout, they were made in the 50's -25% damage +30% firing speed -20% max ammo limits to single jump and I guess a modified thompson for pyro when for every 10 kills, your entire mag shoots incindiary ammo, at the cost of 30% damage and 30% damage vulnerability

Robbing the Scout of his doublejump is bad. Unless that was a secondary, then Force-a-Nature would get more use. I'd suggest better stats. + 35% firing speed + 100% clip size + 50% max ammo + 20% faster weapon switch + 25% longer reload time - Removes double jump - 50% ammo picked up from weapons This would make Force-a-Nature a viable option. You go and puff someone once, then switch to your Uzi and pump them full of lead. Scout vs. Scout you'd still be outmatched by the Scattergun in normal 1v1 range as the Uzi also burns through ammo ridiculously fast. Picking ammo from dead enemies isn't as reliable, ammo packs become much more important as well as dispensers. Without the FaN or Atomizer you're really crippled in terms of movement but you're practically switching that for firepower. Just know how to flank and everyone's going down fast. Real fast, if it's damage spread is the same as the pistol's. Now, it has a 24-round clip and fires a lot faster. You do the math. You'd have 72 rounds in reserve. That's 3 extra clips. Not much considering the time it takes for you to shoot it. Reloading takes more time so you can't just spam it that easily, it's good for hit&runs like the Scout is supposed to be. Go in, shoot a FaN-shell in the back and fire a clip from the Uzi. Most likely they die if they don't see you coming and you can kill multiple targets with it due to multiple shots being fired almost simultaneously. It provides an alternate scattergun, really. However, the Uzi would be more effective at medium and long range than the Scattergun, giving it a clear change in terms of gameplay.
M16's are somewhat TF2 era (we could instead go for the first models of the m16/m4) but not as much of an era suitable gun as an M3
M16s were put in use in the 60s. TF2 is 1940s and or 1950s.
;31421069']M16's were from the 60s. TF2 is 1940s and or 1950s.
1968 its on the goddamn calendars in-game
i thought tf2 was in the 60's
1968 its on the goddamn calendars in-game
Funny because in the dev commentary they said it was in the 40s-50s.
;31421098']Funny because in the dev commentary they said it was in the 40s-50s.
well appearently, they're wrong thankfully
Even if it is in the 60s, which I may be wrong. That doesn't seem TF2 at all.
