So, I weanted a new spray, and now it does not work. Only I can see the spray, and when I start up tf2 the spray is named ''spray''

Make sure the sprays dimensions are 2x2, 4x4, 8x8, 16x16, 32x32, 64x64, 128x128, 256x256 or 512x12.
Make sure the sprays file type is compatible with the source engine.
Import to sprays via options -> Multiplayer.
Should fix it.
512 pixels work? I thought the maximum was 256.
Also, with VTF files I had problems importing them, had to copy them directly to the folder before doing it.
Yeah I only use 256x256 sprays. Sometimes they are "corrupt" according to the game, so some may not work
The spray named "spray" is the steam cloud's back up of your previous spray you used before quitting out of TF2.
And how can you see it, but others can't?

It could be because you're playing on a server that doesn't allow sprays.

First of all,

Second, is it a VTF that is 256 x 256 or smaller?
I use .tga's because steam doesn't seem to like any common image formats they always appear corrupt and vtf is effort to make.
