Creating a server and letting it run and record all day?

Ok, I'm going away for a bit today and I was wondering if I could get a server up (I'd have to convince my father into allowing my our router password so I could forward our ports) and set it back to a classic TF2 like in the other thread people were talking about. And somehow record the entire game for a few hours.
