What happens if my backpack is filled and I get an item? Will it disappear?

I'd start crafting things then
my backpacks first page is never full thanks to crafting.
if you are really close to filling your backpack, there might be a couple potential hats to craft!
I'm saving it until the polycount update comes out.
A screen will come up telling you that you need to delete an existing item to make room for the new item and will display your backpack so you can choose an item to delete.
My advice is either craft up some space or keep a close eye on your profile at tf2b.com so that when an item drops and is in line to show up next time you die, you can craft items for space rather than be forced to delete one when you die.
