Now I've seen many many many stories of people getting accused of being hackers, whether it be from little kids or admins. I thought it'd be easier if you guys dumped all your stories on one thread, for the lols (I can't bring myself to say lolz, lulz, or any other deformity) of all.
P.S. You're all gonna ignore this but try not to post shit like "THEY B& ME FOR MY SPEEDHAX, Y?" It's not funny anymore, just dumb
Well since I use the sourcemod glitch to emulate speedhacking, I get called a hacker quite a lot. They are all just jealous of my skills with exploiting glitches :smug:

:smugissar:
Got banned for going on a 30-kill streak on one of those 24 hour 2fort pubs.
Everyone was angry and spewing hacker accusations because I kept headshotting heavies trying to lumber over the bridge to our base.
I even died on purpise a few times to show them I was 100% human, but it was no use.
Perma'd. :geno:
While using the pyroglitch. That one which constant airblasts very fast.
If it counts I've accused myself of being a hacker multiple times after making bullshit headshots.
Teachers won't let me use there computers since I did a live usb one time. So they always stalk over me when we go to the computer lab.

Ha, did they realize it doesn't affect anyone?
I was a Sniper, and a soldier fired a crit-rocket at me. I should have died but as luck would have it a Medic ubercharged me for a splitsecond so the impact did no damage, AND I shot the soldier in the head whilst I was in the air. So much luck, I couldn't wait to bask in glory.
But it was the admin I killed, and as he didn't see and Medic or after effects of the charge he assumed I was hacking. Kicked, banned, IP logged.
I was so gutted.
I'm not good enough to be accused of hacking :frown:
I play Pyro a lot.
I kept air blasting this one guy's arrows at point blank range. "YOU W+M1ING HACKER STOP IT NOOB!"
Air blasting arrows is easier at close range, as it's similar to air blasting Soldiers at close range. After a while you begin to be able to guess when they are gonna fire at you, and you air blast at the exact time they fire a projectile.
Being called a hacker by a Spy while you are a Pyro doesn't even count.
I get accused of hacking every once in a while. Feels good, man.
Most of the time, it happens when I get a good stab or two; stairstabs, flickstabs, and.. whatever it's called when you dupe someone around a corner. I laugh at the reactions.
I remember I got accused of hacking when I started playing Sniper. I wasn't very good, I just got a lot of lucky kills on top of each other.
Being able to (ab)use lag compensation as a sniper is a guaranteed way to being accused of hacking :smug:

Lag compensation is fun when you are a spy and use the invisible taunt kill :)
I once had two people calling me a hacker for Spycrabbing on a 24/7 Dustbowl server. No, I'm not lieing. :v: I guess some people just live under a rock.
I get called a hacker all the time. I play heavy. :geno:
I guess they think I've got hacks that pull them right in front of me?

It's probably because the Heavy almost seems able to shoot around walls. Part of it is lag compensation, and part of it is that fact that most players running from a heavy will have their back turned, meaning that they won't notice that the heavy is following them to get a few more shots in. I die like that all the time, it never seems fair.
Lets see...got called a hacker by several idiots with 250+ ping each while I had 59 ping, and they were accusing me of lagging.
Also got called a hacker on an all crits server where someone called me a hacker for having 100% crits. On the same server, I got called a "Cheater" because I could rocket jump well, I then said "But Soldier rocket jumps in his video, and there are even tips on how to rocket jump in loading screens." Basically all he said was "OMG REEEEEE I DONT CARE ITS STILL UNFAIR." Sounded a bit like that Konane fellow from that silly pwned.nl flash movie. He probably got mad because he was a Sniper and thought he had me pinned down, and I rocket jumped on some blocks and snuck behind him, and bashed his head in with the shovel for an embarrassment kill.

This may be a dumb question, but how do you "exploit" lag comp?
I think the only time I have been accuse of hacking was on 2fort and when I was trying to get out of the map.
Oh and sorry but I just had to post this:

I just got called a hacker in my last game because I found a shitload of dups from idling the night before. :v:
This may be a dumb question, but how do you "exploit" lag comp?
Often with around 100 ms ping the lag compensation causes hitboxes to be a bit behind the actual model. This can be used eg. for shooting players already gone behind a cover.

Actually, if I'm not mistaken, lag compensation adjusts each player's position when calculating bullet impacts to where they were on the shooter's machine. For example, if a Sniper with a 20ms ping shoots a Soldier, the Soldier is "moved back" to 20ms ago to see whether the round hit or not.
This is why you get cases of high-ping players killing people from behind cover. If a lagging Sniper shoots a Soldier before he enters cover, for the Soldier it might appear that he was safe when he died. It might seem like a hacker move, but it's the lag compensation at work.
Also, if I'm still not mistaken, this is a reason high-ping players are kicked from games, as their distance from the server effects everybody in this way.
I accidentally got allcrits for the whole match on a RTD server due to a glitch once
I never get accused of hacking in TF2. Happens a lot in garrysmod, CS:S, and Insurgency though, since I actually do hack in those games.

lol
Edit: thx for all the disagrees, guess you guys don't know simple sarcasm.
I've never been accused in TF2, but back when I played CSS regularly and was quite good, being banned was a regular occasion.
Acused of hacking after I powed 2 scouts a heavy and his medic at the start of dustbowl at the same time :smug:
I usually accuse people :smug:
Happens a lot in garrysmod [...] since I actually do hack in those games.
Now I'm curious; what are the use of hacks in Garrysmod? Most of the standard "hax" features already have in-game toggle buttons.
