Is there a command to put in the console that reloads the custom skins, huds and stuff? After going in pure servers, all my skin fixes turn off and i have to restart the game to get them back
you could try mat_reloadtextures not sure if it will work though
mat_reloadallmaterials
I believe that requires cheats, but you may be able to do it at the menu.
Valve should remove sv_pure in all of their games

That's a terrible idea
Valve should remove sv_pure 'n all o' their games
I think you're forgettin' Wall hacks
The least they could do is make it a server tag.
Yes, reloadallmaterials will reset your game without having to restart.
Although, restarting is much faster, IMO.

Who uses texture hacks?
What are the benefits of having your server sv_pure anyways?

Nobody does because Hackers don't exist right guys? :downs:

People can't cheat with brighter team colors, louder uncloaks, wall hacks, etc.
sv_pure needs to be shown in the server selection screen.
I don't like it much, but I know it's nessesary, I just wished it was more obvious.
As useful as a command would be, it's probably quicker to just reload TF2.

lol, there are so many more efficient methods that can't be foiled by sv_pure
I doubt that Valve add a server tag in the future.
The "wall-hackers" could avoid easily the sv_pure servers.
Well, big deal.
It's not very fair that the majority of players have to suffer so some guy has to connect before finding out if his hacks work.
Server administrators just need to whitelist player/item models. How hard can that be?
People are very lazy

But there's a tool I'm using, don't know what it's called. Gives you the ability to search more specific for servers. You give the tool some information what servers you prefer (like sv_pure 0) and it blacklists every server automatically having pure 1 or 2.
bind p "toggle mp_usehwmmodels"
Try this for size, big boy

That only works for playermodels, and will effect fps rates. You'll also need mp_usehwmvcds (or whatever it is).

And when someone modifies the whitelisted model?

this. i have three class remodels, a about a million weapon remodels. when i go onto a pure server it destroys my game sometimes. like everything custom goes invisible.

it may be easy, but it would take a VERY long time i am guessing.
