We all know tf2 is complicated to get into as your first fps, post your funny stories! Mine, was in one of my first games, I went engy. I built a sentry in our basement on 2fort, but quickly ran out of building metal. I thought I was doing it wrong, so I right clicked my game, and hit view manual. The lols. I thought I had to hit it in certain spots to build it or else it wouldn't upgrade, and then one some guy came along, I said "you are good at building sentries!" He was just like "the hell..." I didn't know about metal. I also didn't want to get banned for hacking for picking up weapons for ammo. (User was banned for this post ("Dumb thread" - Greeman))
I made a thread about it.
"Epic Newfaggotry" wow thats bad and you should feel bad
I don't think I've had any "newfag" moments, though on a LAN party full of people who've never played TF2... ...the majority of them did not suck and two were really good. (they were Sniper and Pyro.)

That's part of the point of, you know Newfaggotry. He didn't know it, but logic should tell him but whatever.
I felt like a noob when I found out what afk stood for. I found it out when I was playing on 2fort as pyro (get that). I was "guarding" the intel and looking at achievements at the same time. Someone snuck in, and grabbed the intel while I wasn't paying attention. The people thought I was afk, when really I just wasn't paying attention.
We all know tf2 is complicated to get into as your first fps,
A post your thread about tf2 with "epic newfaggotry" in the title and you say it's your first fps? You're not a "newfag" you're 12. ps, anyone else they the term "epic newfag" is contradictory? That's like saying someone's illiteret.
The first time I played spy I spent the whole game trying to figure out why I couldn't attack while cloaked [editline]04:59PM[/editline] when I found out I felt extremely stupid
Free weekenders ask how do i change class
Free weekenders ask how do i change class
That's because typing it is quicker than looking it up in the controls menu.
I really don't think those 2 words mix well at all. Your not epic as a "newfag" so to say, you just see simple things say like your first deflect kill and claim your "uber l33t" from something a good player dose often. Sorry to break it to you sport. Really not worth a thread. But saying that a lot of the stuff on here really doesn't.
incoming /b/hate shit storm
We all know tf2 is complicated to get into as your first fps
lol
watch more "How to play X" videos on youtube. also lurk more.
It took me ages to find out about the pyro airblast
I really hate the word newfag.. it needs to stay on 4chan. It's gonna end up in a dictionary soon.
I really hate the word newfag.. it needs to stay on 4chan. It's gonna end up in a dictionary soon.
This. This this this... This.
it's not even a new word, its just the most common usage of a phrase. newfag oldfag [hometown]fag [hobby]fag [any real personal trait]fag
My noob moment was when I first got the Kritzkreig. ( I only started playing after the Scout update, so I first got all the unlocks before actually playing. ) I kept wondering why I was always dying even though I was ubered. Then some guy told me to switch to the default Medi-Gun, and then I learned why. Unlocks aren't upgrades, just alternatives.
I didn't know spies took someone's name and someone was saying I was a spy and I'm like "No! I'm not a spy!" :buddy:
I tried to get headshots as every class. Soldier: Shoots person in face Me: wtf why didn't your head go off? It should have atleast done extra damage.
When I was Medic for the first time, I tried to block bullets for my patient. I thought that's what you were supposed to do. Also, somewhat recently, when the update that allowed Spies to take enemy teleporters came, I felt stupid because I thought that they could take them the whole freaking time.
First time I launched TF2, it said I needed a computer.
I was playing goldrush against some noobs the other day. After steamrolling them on the first two stages one of them finally said "Why is there a cart?" and it suddenly made sense. They started playing better after I explained how payload worked. You'd think those videos explaining how the gamemodes work would help.
Yeah, he's just AFK Whut Away From Keyboard
Suddenly holes in sides of faces and teamkilling.
