sometimes i just crash at the motd screen, it just gives the generic hl2 crash error.. i could play on the same server for multiple maps and then suddenly on a map change it crashes, what is the problem?

and if that doesn't work, delete tf folder, validate files, etc.
Try disabling HTML MOTD's?
