Hello. I was wondering what type of special things You give to people who donate to your tf2 server?
Whats up with all the random threads this morning?
Also you give them admins if they donates ALOT of money.
Fun extras, but no gameplay advantages.

Extras such as what exactly? O.o
Make donators join a server even when it's full.
Don't do this.
I would never give admin to someone no matter how much they donated
If they're trustworthy and a server regular I probably would.
For any random donator I'd just take the cash and give them some bogus hat.
No reload
All crits
Godmode
Noclip
Infinite ammo
3x speed
Sprint
Admin commands
Hats
Follow this guide and you will soon have a successful server!
Of course I'll have a successful server with all that.. But I run an orange server so I'd like it somewhat fair

I thought tf2 stopped allowing custom hats on servers?

50 particle effects on them on top of each other.
I'd reccomend autobalance immunity.
...A thumbs up?

I'm not sure if they did. Maybe a customizable server message for when they join?
50 particle effects on them on top of each other.
Sourcemod plugin?
A server to play on.
I'd reccomend autobalance immunity.
I already have that for them
You should give them no more than two things, a reserved slot and a thank you.
Don't give them shit like "More buildings, all crits ect"
Maybe an unusual effect to be placed on their hats...
What sourcemod plugin gives these effects?
If you have more than one idea, set up a tier system. Allow one reward of the donator's choice per $X spent.
Immunity to Autobalance primarily.
I'm thinking about selling in packages like donate 5 dollars you get the bronze package which has this, and 10 dollars is silver package, 20 dollars gold package, 30 dollars diamond package....
Yes,no,maybe? What do you guys think?

Yeah but there's only so many flags for each thing... I only have like 5 flags.. Unless there's a plugin that gives them a certain command?
A server chain I'm VIP on gives a circling hearts effect on both the hat and the weapon of the donator. It's a nice little detail that isn't gameplay-breaking.
Whyyy? Why do you use that map?
It's not x3 it's basement which is a better version
Reserved slots, end round immunity.

hardy har har

There is no "better version". They are all terribly made decompiled shithuts of maps.
Also, if people won't donate to your server from the good of their hearts, your server isn't that good. But if you want to reward people for donating, just give them small aesthetic bonuses like a particle effect or something. Don't give them any actual advantages in gameplay (even autobalance protection is too much, it works the way it does for a reason).

The reason being to just fuck me over when I die right before we cap the last point and because of some rage quitting noob I go to the other team?
Sounds about right.

Fuck autobalance, once I was the person with the most points on a server so the damn thing autobalanced me between the two teams over seven times in a row in less than five minutes.
I agree about balancing the teams being important, I disagree as long as it's as incompetent and useless as our current autobalance.

Yeah, it does have it's moments doesn't it.
Like every single time I've ever been autobalanced.

As it should and is programmed to do. It isn't sentient, it can't make moral decisions about moving you, and if both teams were really doing that bad, it was trying to make up for the curbstomping you could have been handing out.

The question I ask is why they don't autobalance the people doing worse instead of the ones doing best, as if you take away a team's best player they might start losing, meaning the autobalance has to fix the other team.
