Don't idle on achievement_idle. Idle on one of it's spin-off maps. I idled on 4 different servers for achievement idle for 19 hours and didn't get a single drop. I idled on achievement_idle_4_craft and got 7 items in 7 hours.

Had two items in 5 hours and 17 minutes.. fucking bullshit.

I got 2 KGBs and 2 Sandviches and 2 other things.

If they really made it so that you can't get stuff on achievement_idle thats a dumb change.

Got 6 items on the same achievement_idle server today. Sometimes, there are really long periods when you get nothing at all, and other periods when a shitload of items drop and you don't see it coming. I think some achievement_idle servers are "fake" too, as in, they are configured so you can't get drops on them. That wouldn't really surprise me to be honest.

They most definitely appear to be low, i idled through virtually the whole night and did not get anything.

Yup, I'm pretty infamous on my list for getting a shitton of items, and ever sense the community update hit I've gotten about, 4-5 items in the past few days. Restarted tf2 (my drastic answer) and joined several servers. Nothin.

I can't idle, every time I try to, something causes TF2 to crash.

I idled for about 12 hours and got one item, but I'm not bitching about it.
