Everytime I go join a server playing on the map "cp_mann manor" My game instantly crashes. What gives?!

also if It's not instant game crash, I just crash from the server.
Have you gone through the "crashing for no reason" checklist?
-Defragment game files
-Check integrity of said game files
-Remove any and all custom shit you have (if applicable)
-And if all else fails, re-install the game.
-If that fails, re-install steam.
-And if you have nowhere else to turn, nothing has worked, all is nearly lost, get a new computer.

It could just be the server.
OR
It could just be you.
I'd check and see if you can load the map, in other words start a server on that map and see if you crash then.

I was joking.
I already had to pay $300 just to get a new hard drive after finding out what caused some blue screens back in april.
It's the reason I dont have portal 2.
If you are crashing when you try and pick a class, turn off multicore rendering.

Why did you pay $300 on a hard drive?
I get this too, I've done everything.
I deleted my TF folder, I verified game cache 3 times, I defragged 3 times, I even fucking re-installed TF2 twice.
Valve...

Isn't this because of the update?
It hasn't happend to me latley, but it happen quite frequently after the Manniversary update.
In fact a few of my steam friends are still crashing.
I've also seen a lot of people in the servers still crash.
Like I said it hasn't happend to be latley, but I remember when it was pretty frequent. I was in a server with about 16 people, then everyone crashed and it was just me and two others left. The others started to re-join shortly after. It was funny though ... seeing all the crashes and thinking "I'm next ... anytime now...." then I don't crash and there were 3 of us left ... I felt like some sort of survivor.

And yes, I've crashed a few times while playing mannor, most of the time when the HHH dies.
I don't know if the game crashes more or less often after a "crash fixing" update.
