Is it possible to make bots that don't just sit there?

Yeah sure, you can create a server and spam "Bot" in the console, but they just sit there, and they don't shoot or anything. Is there some kind of commands to make them work?
Tf_bot_add or something like that
You used the wrong command.
The correct is stated above.
Oh. Thanks.

Okay, they just shoot at me when I'm in range now, they never move.
only on koth maps i think
Use them on koth_sawmill and see what happens.
For custom maps use
sv_cheats 1
nav_generate
Here's a more comprehensive explanation:
QUICK GUIDE
Upon starting up a server that you will play on by yourself, set the player amount to '32' (Always).
When you load that map for the first time doing this, and only the first time
(After you do it once on a map you never have to do it again on the same map)
Type "Nav_Generate". Lag is normal. When it's finished, type tf_bot_add in the console to add a functional bot. You will probably want to bind that command to a key though.
Afterwards, play.
:siren:NOTE, AS OF RIGHT NOW, THE BOTS ONLY FULLY WORK ON 'KOTH' MAPS AND PARTIALLY ON 'CP' MAPS.:siren:
ALSO, THESE BOTS RELY ON YOUR CPU, SO ONLY SPAWN AS MANY BOTS AS YOUR CPU CAN HANDLE OR YOU WILL HAVE LAG
Have fun
They also kinda work on Arena maps but on ones like Lumberyard they'll sort of cluster around the doors until they open.
I did it with all-heavy teams once. That was a fast game.
Thank you so much, I can finally test my map

Source relies on cpu, bots rely on cpu. :V
