Ok, so I was playing today for around an hour. I was killed again, but this time it froze on the freezecam. I restarted TF2, and played again, and when I died, the game froze. I checked TF2tems, thinking this may have to do with the update, and as it seems, I have a Shortstopper I haven't gotten yet. Does anyone have any idea how to fix this?
Servers are pretty messed up due to the update, wait a hour or so for the servers to recover from all the people using it.
Just don't die.
Don't play for a few days, wait for everything to die down
You could get better at the game. Then you won't have to worry about dying any more.
I hate to bump my own thread, but I've realized I can only die if my backpack isn't connected to Steam. Once it's connected, dying locks up the game. I can tell that no one else seems to have this problem, so could anyone give me further advice?
Delete any custom HUD you are using.
