Can i get VAC banned for using this gift texture replacement? - Games

Is it at least more visible than the old one? Will I still be able to see the gift (even as the default texture) if the server has sv_pure 1? Does it only appear when I get too close to it? Yeah, I'm a real pain in the ass.

Last year I memorized most, if not all, gift spawning locations, and I found about 50 of them. I think I did a pretty good job doing it because I don't have much time to spend in TF2 since I got in college. Today I was in a Brazilian server and 2 guys from the same guild were pretty much owning all the gifts. I could only find 3 using my super scout strategy and gave up and searched for that texture. Maybe there is a new method to see them through walls... Does anybody know anything about it?

You know what? I used to hate that hat stuff too, and most of the new weapons that change completely the role of the classes. I wrote some stuff on Brazilian forums and people seemed to understand me, but it would never change anything. We just have to deal with the recent updates. At least I can build some epeen. Blame Robin for this hat sh*tfest.

Yeah this doesn't work anymore, valve fixed ignorez There must be a map floating about from last year with the locations marked, they seems to spawn near cap A or B rarely do they spawn near cap C.

Last year the gifts could spawn in the upper level of the tower near the first control point.

It's definitively missing some locations. Like today I got a present inside that building in front of Blue spawn. Could be that it was updated for 2011. (or not)
