I want to edit the Gibus so it says "Random Collection of Hats" and maybe a picture of a pile of hats? I'm using the gibus replacer that makes it look like you're wearing hats but I don't know how to edit the icon.
You need to find the appropriate files in the GCF files, viewed with [URL="http://nemesis.thewavelength.net/index.php?p=26"]GCFscape[/URL].

Actually, I got to go. Look in resource for tf_english and look in the materials gcf for the backpack icons. I think it's somewhere under materials/backpack.

I dont see the point of changing the gibus, everybody still have the same hat (even though it has a different model) there is no purpose for any skin whatsoever except of model fixes

Ok what directory does the all_domination.vtf and .vmt files need to go in to appear in game?
You want to change the icon in the backpack right?
Stick the .vtf in tf\materials\backpack\player\items\all_class
