Final boss is... this [sp]enormous robot Cave Johnson who drops combustable lemons from the ceiling and who basically is like fighting Master/Crazy Hand from SSB. Saxton Hale pops in to knock off his head for you[/sp] After beating the boss, it said [sp]"congratulations! You've unlocked the Southern Hospitality. Please Log into Steam to claim your reward!" and promptly asked for my username/password. I said "nope" and closed it down. Anyone want to take a risk and see what happens when you enter it?[/sp]
Yay
wait what seriously?
Yep. Though Psychopath12 informs me this thing at the end is a little trick, and probably not dangerous.
Yep. Though Psychopath12 informs me this thing at the end is a little trick, and probably not dangerous.
So does this game span through the Valve universes? And exactly what happens when you enter your user/pass? (directed to anyone who has actually done it :v:)
So does this game span through the Valve universes? And exactly what happens when you enter your user/pass?
No clue- probably does nothing.
Is this online co-op or just local
Is this online co-op or just local
he said he might try to make Online multiplayer soon but for now local co-op
he said he might try to make Online multiplayer soon but for now local co-op
It'll do.
Now the TF2 campaign thread, can actually talk about a real campaign.
Yep. Though Psychopath12 informs me this thing at the end is a little trick, and probably not dangerous.
It's not that hard to dupe something like that. Like the beginning "achievement" message when starting the game is really just the loading bar without the progress being rendered.

This is pretty damn fun, and it really keeps the essence of TF2. But (unless I'm missing something?) it's a pain in the ass being stuck as one class for the whole level. I was testing all the classes and I picked Engie. Ended up against a boss that barely stands still (level 7, I think), and Engie really has no way to hit the damn thing - and when I did hit it, it barely did anything anyway. I died 3 times and chipped a whole pixel off the boss's life bar. It's still awesome, though.

Keep hitting it even though it does no damage. You'll be surprised
I kinda wish it had an option to change characters after death and also to have CPU teammates. Overall its a fun and unique experience. Edit: Also, how the hell do I melee as any non-spy class?

Never use Sniper when playing solo. EVER
Never use Sniper when playing solo. EVER
Downloading it now, so telling me why would be a good thing right about now...
Click both buttons at the same time. Also, is there any way to get this running on a mac?
Written in Game Maker, so it's only Windows-compatible. It's an inconvenience.
That's because you're not supposed to be doing damage to that boss. Keep hitting it even though it does no damage. You'll be surprised
Ahhhh, okay! I just got annoyed cos nothing was happening and I was dying a lot without achieving anything. (Which I guess is also like the real TF2 har har) I'll keep that in mind next time then. [editline]29th September 2011[/editline]
Never use Sniper when playing solo. EVER
I actually quite liked sniper. Hold down the button to charge, bob about so you don't get interrupted, wait for baddies to line up and fire to take a bunch out at once. Charged shots have penetration. Then if you get crowded, get swinging with the kukri till you've got some room. The SMG's not great, though.
Never use Sniper when playing solo. EVER
Medic is far worse. Melee/syringes, only, since your Medigun is your primary. And a tip on melee, it helps if you push jump immediately after you push attack, not at the same time. Seems to be way more dependable. You can even do a little exploit for bosses where you shoot your gun before meleeing.
Coly Hrap, the Sniper IS shit
Finished the game as a Pyro. Most hard battle: Medic Most easy battle: Sniper Most bugged battle: Spy (after his first backstab he got stuck) Sadly, it was very easy, still, it was very funny to play.
Engi has to be the easiest boss ever.
I've had this bug where if I was heavy and finished the medic off he'd make the dying sound and just continue to heal the robot
Level 7 in a nutshell: Apparently it was both.
I really hope they add Coop online soon.
