Wrong. Valve said they do not plan to distinguish bought items from found/crafted items. Vintage means you got it before the polycount update.

I found a "vintage direct hit" earlier today, after the update. They must have some problems.
I knew that it was good to keep at least one of each item, even if I don't use them!
