Poor optimization =/= High ping.
You might lag, but your ping doesn't go up to 300-400.

In your autoexec. 1-5 ping on every server. Never get kicked for high ping again, even if you really are lagging :ghost:

Oh, weird. Sorry about my first comment.
This is also happening to me and many others. Ever since I think the new hats update. Some people including me get random lag for a couple of seconds, going from the normal lag up to 300, 400 or much much more then that, and then going down. Its really annoying. Wish valve would fix it, as this isnt user problem. It also happens in other steam online games.
