• Huntsman usefulness upgrade idea.

I think the huntsman can become more useful with this idea. A demoman teammate shoots a sticky bomb at you. Now you have an arrow with a sticky bomb on it, it will weigh down your arrow slightly and be less accurate. It explodes on impact, like a rocket, so you can shoot it at an enemy, if your arrow doesn't kill them, the explosion might. This encourages more teamwork and more people to use the huntsman because I think it doesn't get used as much as the sniper rifle. Valve would have to: Show the stickybomb on the viewmodel on the arrow. Fire the arrow with a stickybomb on it that is heavier so it falls down quicker. Explode on impact from the speed. The demoman loses control of the sticky bomb (The arrow pierces it's remote controls?) Fire + arrow + stickbomb. INSTEAD of picking the arrow back up (to prevent sticky stealing): A friendly demoman shoots a stickybomb at you, it goes on your arrow (unrealistic, but, a puff of fire lights your arrow up indefinitely) [highlight](User was banned for this post ("rules" - Jimbomcb))[/highlight]

Seems like it's too much effort as the sniper just for a single shot.
This would be great to annoy camping demomans.

This COULD be useful is this allowed the Sniper to use enemy sticky bombs and turn them friendly

Why not just add explosive tipped arrows to the game? Your idea is far too involved in my opinion.

I changed the OP to make it not be able to be a griefing tool.
I like the sapper+arrow idea, but it seems a little bit overpowered.

So you want to turn a huntsmen arrow, into a grenade, by putting a sticky bomb on it? Doesn't the demo already have a weapon that does the same thing?
I like the idea of becoming even more like Link, but otherwise this is a bad idea.
The huntsman needs a nerf, not a buff.
Can people even hit things consistently with the huntsman?

I really hate going up to melee an unsuspecting sniper, only for them to do a 180 with the thing and kill me instantly. Doing 150+ damage at a long range is fine by me. A sniper's a sniper, he shouldn't be up close, at least at flamethrower/melee distances.

The huntsman is a over powered piece of shit and should be automatically converted into scrap when placed in your inventory
