The poor and Irish relief fund is for those who are less fortunate when it comes to finding hats. Donations are will be taken, and on top of that I'll be giving away a couple of my personal hats and will give away most hats I find in the future. I've seen things like this happen before and no one wants to donate because of trust issues, so hopefully I can build some trust and make people comfortable with handing me their hats.
How do I get hats?
Scroll to the bottom of this post, you'll see a picture and a description of what you need to do to enter and a picture of the hat up for grabs. I encourage that if you have more than three hats that you do not enter, because this is for those with bad luck. If it becomes an issue were lots of rich Englishmen take advantage of the competitions than I'll be forced to make entering more strict.
So what do I have to do to enter?
Depends on the event, I'll be trying to mix it up a bit. Usually I'll try and host some sort of competition. It will range from anything from a picture drawing competition to a free to enter raffle.
How can I donate?
Just contact me by either adding me on Steam or X-fire or sending me a PM.
How can I trust you with my hats?
I'll be giving away a couple of my own hats to get things started and I'm not giving away shitty hatlesses I'll also be giving away most of my future hat pickups. Hopefully in time I can build a strong reputation.
Why do I have to give my hats to you?
Like I said, there's a lot of issues with trust and this goes both ways. I don't want people to bust their asses making an awesome picture so someone can take it and not actually give away the hat. I will be hosting events to give everyone a fair chance. I want to be able to have a fun and trust worthy way to give award those cold headed Irishmen with hats and give donors recondition for donating.
But I can't draw, how am I supposed to enter?
Don't worry I know what it's like to have pretty much zero talent and I'm going to host a wide array of competitions to give everyone a fair chance at something they're good at, and if you're not good at anything you could just wait for a free raffle.

You remember the 'TF2 Item Generator' thread from a month or two ago? I made this from something I got from the Generator, but the thread had died by the time it was finished.

It's something like that although I didn't get the turnout I expected. I thought the lure of free hats would have me going through dozens of pictures but I've probably got a total of about 8 submissions
