i was on a mariokart server and they had it so if you put in your name into some list, it would give you a particle effect. such as your head is on fire or ghosts floating around you.
he mentioned something about sourcemod.
does anyone here know how to do it?
if you do know how, can you tell me?
EDIT: i am not trying to make a pay-for-speed/ammo/life/hack hacks. its just a cosmetic donation thing i want to do.

im not sure exactly how it works. thats why i was asking the forums. hoping to get some information. he somehow made it so any hat would give you any particle effect he wanted or you asked for.
Ask the guy who did it? Also, I think that it would only work on that server, it seems unlikely that there is a command for it. Maybe there is and it's a bug.

i am pretty sure that he gets our steamid. he has a list thru sourcemod that gives particle effects to players.
like one time my ghibus would give me the ghost particle effect. and the wrench had a heart particle effect.
im gonna ask him when he gets online...

OK i think i got it.
you need to download sourcemod and metamod and put both on the server. then you can download plugins for sourcemod. i just need to sift through about thirty million plugins for it.
I've seen a server where the donors got heart particles around their weapons on the server.
