So I'm playing some balloon race. Kicking ass as usual. I'll get our boat to the 2nd point without their boat even leaving the first island. So 10 minutes, ~20 kills and after holding the opposite team back, BAM! YOU ARE NOW RED!
Come the fuck on! Why the hell does auto balance always choose the person who just fucked up the entire team? You kill an entire engi setup, dominate the entire team in a single life, completely destroy their chances of winning, and you get auto balanced.
So basically, I should play good, but not too goob because I might get auto balanced and shoot myself in the foot. I hate it. Why can't it take the most useless player from the team?
/rant
Try getting Autobalanced when you just lead your team to victory in gold rush, but in the last second you are autobalanced to the other team.
Shit sucks.
It actually makes me laugh when i constantly destroy an engi's base / backstab on 2fort then when i'm auto-balanced to his team i'm like "No hard feelings :v:" which is often met with insults
Hah! Red is losing! Fuck them, go BLU! BLU is awesome! :woop:

:smithicide:
I only seem to get autobalanced when I'm doing good as well, it's like Sod's Law when I did nothing wrong!

Put yourself in their shoes for a moment.
You're being dominated (and so is the rest of your team), your engi just got his nest set up and immediately wiped, the other team is doing a helluva lot better at the objective.
Do you want the person that's at the top of their team, or the bottom of their team? Useful or useless? Chances are, you're going to want the useful one.
As well, most of the time I see autobalance, it seems to just take the first person that dies after it says teams are unbalanced and will be rebalanced in the next 5 seconds (although this isn't always the case).
Just happened again. We were capping the third point to win the game.
I don't put up with it. I go spectator if I get autobalanced. and if I can't because of some shitty server mod, I leave.
I think they take the MVP of the round and switch em over.
Why is it that Auto balance always Sends the people with the lowest score on the other team?
I think they take the MVP of the round and switch em over.
No they pick the first person to die when they give the warning of autobalance
So it's simple don't die
Hide, flee or be a man and fight whatever so long as you live autobalance will be no problem or you could just throw the enemies at one of your allies so he gets balanced instead (I like to blow spies cover if they're not that good to save my own ass from autobalance)

crit happens
I always hate being auto-balanced. It just changes the way I need to play, usually.
However, just recently, it didn't matter much. I was pushing us through as a Heavy, cutting off a rampaging Demo's Medic. However, it cost me my life. I was auto-balanced. After my own Heavy rampage, all I had accomplish was lost... But then I turned the tides. I went defensive Scout, wrecking everyones lives. But, as I was respawning, they got the cart dangerously close, so I went Heavy to try to clean the mess. I continued the round defending with my amazing team, and we pushed them back and we won.
You are awesome

It's different when the only way you can win is hoping that the other team doesn't cap a point that you can only access with a boat that's at the spawn you were camping for 10 minutes before you got autod. But then again, I guess it's my fault for playing that gamemode.
DIE BLUE SCUM,
Autobalance
DIE RED FAGS!
DIE BLUE SCUM,
Autobalance
OH FOR FUCKS SAKE!
More accurate fix for you
Yes I just tried to defend this system but I hate it as much as all of you about being autobalanced
They should put the worst player on the opposite team, not the best
When I get AB I go into spectate and wait like a cunt
:colbert:
I've learned to deal with it.
However, I do rage when I am auto-balanced due to the Dead Ringer being triggered. Good thing I rarely use it.
my favorite part is when my team is half a second from capping the last point
You have been Autobalanced

YOU FAILED
NO YOU FAILED YOU KNOW WHAT YOU FAILED
Getting autobalanced while winning is no fun, but I've come to appreciate the autobalance in TF2 after playing Bad Company 2. Immediate even teams is much better than an entire round where your team is short 5 people.
Uhhg I hate auto balance on balloon race! I mean I'm leading the team, we've got them held up at the 1st/2nd point. I've just dominated an enemy. My allies are at the last point! YES WE WILL WIN! Then some random demo/spy/scout/pyro jumps down and kills me and I get auto balanced!
I enjoy randomly running across the caps and respawning on BLU.
We have captured the control point
HEY THERE'S A SPY COMIN UP
YOU HAVE BEEN AUTOBALANCED
YOU FAILED.
Sitting out is worse than autobalance, you can't even play at all.
Whenever I have to sit out, I go to the spectator mode where you can fly around, and try to fly through parts of the map (like the room in the tower on watchtower) without hitting the walls.

On the contrary: when you play on the team that you just got balanced to instead of spectating, some random person who just joined could be like "Hey, this team's about to win! Let's join them!" Basically, you have a chance to get back on your team if you spectate.
Something like that happened to me for some time ago.
We had 2/3 intel caps (i capped them all) on our team, i was scout and was just about to secure the intel. When suddenly a soldier pops out from nowhere and pulls off a crit-rocket towards me, i died. Before you know it it says "You've been autobalanced".
10 seconds later:
The enemy have captu- YOU FAILED!.
I die in the weirdest ways when I get autobalanced I fall from a building and a demo nades me before I land and I get auto'd a spy backstabs me when I hit him and I get auto'd

Why not help the new team you're on advance? Look at it as sort of a challenge, which a good game will do. If you don't care for it, find another server, start your own, or stop playing. God I hate fucking cry babies.
Make it so that the person with the lowest points gets auto-balanced.
Problem solved.
