Damn my slow internet! - Games

I needed to reinstall this game on my new computer and I'm only getting about 680 kb/s. It said the estimated time was 7 hours! Will this fuck up gameplay at all or will it just be for the download?

680 kb/s is fine, I only get around 540 kb/s per download and I can play fine.

I get 156kb/s. FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU

Yeah mine fluctuates. It'll randomly get a spike up to 800 kb/s or drop to 545 kb/s which it is at right now.

I usually get peaks of 1.1 mb per second, the average being in the 700kb range.

you should be glad a lot of people get below 300 kb/s average. 800 kb and 550 kb/s is not bad at all

Fastest I've gotten to is 2.1 Mb while downloading Half-Life 1. Usually average around 1 Mb for popular games like TF2.
