Just wanted to know how much mods people put into their game clients.
According to me, modifications are game changes that you can't make using a game menu (like sprays and keyboard configuration) but you have to go and change/add/delete game files or change settings on steam (autoexec files, model/skin changes, etc).
I only use -Novid and i'm planning on downloading some slight skin modifications such as the High Res Sentry Stickers.
I like mods that fix stuff and keep with the TF2 style
Autoexec.

Aside from Source Tools, which doesn't modify anything, my client is as vanilla as a granola white Anglo-Saxon protestant.
Vanilla with some graphic enhancing config files.

I remade the old game menu (the one without dividers and a different order), and that's pretty much it.
I've just got numeric health display on target info, TF2logo-shaped health bar, fixed über textures, a dingalingaling, updated class HUD icons, and that's pretty much about it
I haven't modified anything.

Maps and novid.
Currently, not at all. Trying to keep it clean for an optimum FPS. Except for Shugo's icon pack, and maybe some more fixes down the line.
How the pros do it
I have a single mod - blue flame particle effect.
Extremely sparsely. I only have the uniformed backpack icons, 32 man scoreboard and that's it.
If more servers had sv_pure 0, I would get some custom models happening.
Flame's community HUD, Quantum's Custom Config, and team colored pyro flames.

I have a tough time looking at the game without beta-style skins, especially the lack of my custom beta-style shading.

Makes my game look sexy. Besides that i only use a few custom models.
Huh. I figured that there would be more people with custom models.
Anyway:
-Stylish Spy (with view models & HUD)
-Some misc sound replacements
-Hounddog & Ushanka combination
-Shugo's icons mod
I've been meaning to reinstall the Soldier cape too, along with some other misc skins (eg. hats).
EDIT: And of course, I've got launch options like -novid and various graphics tweaks in my autoexec. Honestly though, they don't actually change the game content so I don't really consider them mods.

One skin, gives the heavy a moustache. He looks wierd without it now.
Nothing that would make important stuff invisible if I joined an sv_pure server.
Some UI fixes, some graphics fixes, some general improvements like the 4 slot grenade launcher and neoDement's spy disguise thingy, and a couple hats to make those gibus wearing masses look slightly more sophisticated when I kill them.
