• Trading a Hat, and then Crafting recieved hats, results in the same hat you just traded.

I honestly don't know if this is either just one huge coincidence, or if Valve are just trolling me... List of events: 1. Started out with my Towering Pillar, which I traded for Hatless Sniper, and Pot. 2. I then Traded the Bombing Run for Drill Hat, and Bonnet. 3. Then I finally traded my Fez for Ushanka, Another Bonnet, Trophy Belt, and Baker Boy, and a few other items. 4. I traded the Baker Boy for a few weapons and Items. This is where it begins to annoy me. 5. I craft the Hatless Sniper, with the Dupe Bonnet...I get a Towering Pillar... 6. I then craft the Dupe Drill Hat, with the Trophy Belt, and I wind up with another Fez with the exact same level! (65) tl;dr, Basically after trading away 2 hats, crafting the recieved hats resulted in the Same Two hats I began with... If my next crafted hat is a Baker Boy, I'm gonna be worried. I also traded away a Tossle Cap when trading came out, and got a Tossle Cap again after crafting...
Bad luck.
Reminds me of when I traded for a L'Etranger, but then found one by drop 2 minutes later. :v: It's just luck really.
Coincidence. I traded my Hound Dog for a Mining Light and Football Helmet, crafted them and got a Handymans Handle. I also crafted a Drill hat & Heavy Duty Rag and got Kabuto.
:raise: Sounds weird.
Maybe they really love you :3:
Crafted towering pillar for 2 hats, crafted those 2 hats, and got another towering pillar...
It's destiny. You're fated to be with those hats. I once crafted my Backbiter's Billycock and the very next week I found it in a random drop.
