I just made a Jpeg image into a tga. But I have no clue how to make the tga. into a Vtf. file. I downloaded Vtfedit but have no clue how to use it and I'm in need of help from Facepunch!
Open image in vtfedit.
File > Save as vtf.
Save it in materials > vgui > logos
Oh and it can be no larger than 256x256
There should be an import button in the file menu. using that, you can get the targa file into the program and then when done with your settings, you can click save as and then it will become a .vtf

thanks, i am pretty handicapped when it comes to Vtf's and and such.

If VTF's are too complicated for you, Source Engine will also accept regular TGA's if you select it ingame.
