You don't.
Well you could invite friends and ask them to play like robots...
Facepunch is so helpful when it comes to cracking your games...
Facepunch is so helpful when it comes to cracking your games...
No because that's warez.
No because that's warez.
Valve supports modders.
PC modders maybe.
bot_add in console? Bind it to your back button after hacking the game. The How I can't say, but it do-able. (Edit) Thats right no AI...
You can't. I thought it was kind of lame too having a console game be useless when offline, but I guess that's what the rest of the Orange Box is for...
It's completely useless having an FPS on a console but that didn't stop them, why would multiplayer only?
It's completely useless having an FPS on a console but that didn't stop them, why would multiplayer only?
Here we go again... Another innocent "Hi guys! I use TF2 on a console, so..." thread turned to shit. It was good while it lasted.
No it wasn't.
No console wars zone.
I like playing my super nintendo.
Even if you manage to add bots, they'll do nothing but standing around, because theres noo AI for them, yet.

I wish the Xbox 360's TF2 was still moddable.
I wish the Xbox 360's TF2 was still moddable.
It wasn't really moddable. It just let you access console cvars. They took the most popular ones and made them options anyway. What more do you need to change past class limits, respawn time, damage spread, and crits (as much as I HATE class limits and respawn time edits)?
You don't because consoles suck
Since when can you change spawn times on the 360? And cvars were all you really needed to have fun in game.
Since when can you change spawn times on the 360? And cvars were all you really needed to have fun in game.
You NEED to have low gravity and unplayable HL2 maps to have fun? It was annoying enough that if you joined a messed up server, the messed up settings followed you if you made your own. Also, I was wrong about the spawn times. I don't know why I thought you could change those via the update. Still hate the class limits, though. If a team is winning because they've piled up on one class, then pick a different class to counter their single class and they're finished. The only reason this is a problem for anybody is because almost everyone "mains" a class and are too afraid to learn how to play a different one. No single class is overpowered and all of them have weaknesses. If you stack their strength together, you're also stacking their weakness.
Buying TF2 for Xbox with no Xbox Live is like selling your car for gas money.
Buying TF2 for Xbox with no Xbox Live is like selling your car for gas money.
Maybe if I was able to read, I'd notice that Keychain wasn't talking about this at all whatsoever. :downs: My point still stands, though, even if it's directed at nobody... Or it's just an alternative to the PC version should you not own a capable PC. Why does everybody have to be such an asshat in TF2 360 threads? Jesus Christ, I bet none of you even played it. I know exactly what it's like to not have enough money at the time of The Orange Box's release for a capable computer. I wanted to enjoy the games and so I picked the lesser, more budget-friendly option. I eventually DID get a great computer, but not after playing TF2 360 until a little past the Goldrush Update on the PC version. TF2 360 is perfectly fine. It has lesser graphics and you use analog sticks. So what? Some people LIKE analog sticks, and it's THEIR PREFERENCE. I do. Due to my experience with TF2 360, I sometimes play TF2 PC with a 360 controller and I do just fine. I'm not saying analog sticks are superior, but they surely aren't crippling if I can fare against mouse and keyboard users with them. Get over yourselves and stop pretending you're part of the PC master race. And by the way, let me predict everyone's inevitable response to this so you get creative enough to make a different, more thought-out response: "BUT I DID PLAY IT AND IT WAS SHIT. EVERYBODY SHOULD JUST BUY A NEW COMPUTER. PC MASTER RACE I NEVER SAID THAT! ANALOG STICKS ARE TERRIBLE."
GIANT WALL OF RAGE
Way to misread the post you quoted. He's saying it was stupid to buy TF2 for Xbox when you don't have Xbox Live to play it on.

The Xbox Live is the only thing I hate about the console.
