Like the creepy stalker I am, I noticed a Valve employee playing a game of Team Fortress 2. Obviously I attempted to join, but alas the server is passworded. Saddened I looked more closely at the server info.

The map, koth_soho1_a8 is clearly custom, and after an amount of Googling I've come up with no currently known maps.
The players intrigued me, all except for 3Dnj are Valve employees. 3Dnj is also notable however, as he made both Lakeside and Mountain Lab.
So, all indications point towards a map having been made by 3Dnj is being tested by Valve employees for potential inclusion in an update.
What are your thoughts?

Huh, koth_soho1_a8 actually has no google results at all.
Then again it might just be an quiet custom map with some special visitors.

What really begs me is the Alpha state of the map. They're not even in beta yet, so the update needs to wait until that map's finished.
They're testing the robot invasion map.

Highly unlikely considering this is on the current version of TF2.
It has been a while since we got a KOTH map. Maybe the next major update will include a normal KOTH map alongside the new Raid/MVM map.

KOTH also makes sense for a boss encounter.

well 3dnj usually details his maps straight away so it being alpha in name is nothing, he only released like 8 versions of lakside before it went official

Imagine a revamped KOTH mode that is basically 1 team fighting off waves of robots in a sort of survival thing.

yeah possibly but I have a feeling robots will be a separate game mode so if it is there will be a koth version and robot version, same way all other maps that have robot shit hidden in them would have their regular mode and a robot mode

When I go there to go to some local arcades, there are sex shops everywhere.. when I walk out I am greeted with men stripping on poles on the shop on the opposite side.

New Game mode: Capture the Male Stripper.
Players must pick up and carry a male stripper on their back and return him to their base, while the enemy tries to do likewise.
Also, robots somewhere in there.
