Hey guys, I've been working on an Android app that overlays the TF2 HUD over your phone's camera stream for the past few weeks. I posted this on the Steam forums, got some feedback, and my friend suggested I post it here as well for some more feedback. I've already implemented some of the requested features and ideas that were posted in my SPUF thread, and the more the merrier I guess.

All the classes are implemented (some more than others) as well as a secret 10th class (Hint: "tap tap tap").

This actually seems pretty cool, except the video shows a few animation giltches and the minigun muzzleflash looks odd. Other than that, its neat!

Okay, so feel free to take this with a grain of salt since I still have an old-as-fuck Droid Ally, and I need to wait until I can borrow/steal someone else's phone to try this app on a better Droid.
For now, though, I noticed that, although very well animated, the app is a bit prone to slowdown, causing sound effects to play faster than the actual animation.
Nothing major, though. The App is very well made, and I loved how the class you're currently using randomly says one of their lines while using the weapon. Can't wait to see an update for more weapons.
Add in the Original and you just made a friend for life :D

I think you should make it use the beta muzzle flash. Current one looks bad.

Looks cool. One thing that bothers me with these AR games in public is that you look like a bit weird. Hopefully no one notices that you are using your phone to point virtual weapons at random pedestrians :v:

Still love the app. Showed this to my buddies at school and they immediately got it for their own phones.

This would be a cool app, if Google didn't decide to be an ass and cancel market on my phone.

Got it on my galaxy note, and it seems like the app was designed for lower resolution phones. The display looks very small on my screen and the hands kind of dissapear when swinging my weapon (checked this with the pyro's axe animations). Still pretty neat though :)
